Quickly landing the #1 trending spot on Netflix’s most streamed shows this week, The Watcher has already accumulated 484.3 million hours of views. This 7 episode show is based on real-life events that occurred in Westfield, New Jersey; creators Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan replicate the terrifying true incidents that happened to the targeted families who lived in 657 Boulevard.

To summarize this show, the Brannock family moved into 657 Boulevard, thinking it would be their forever home. A few weeks after moving in, the Brannock family begin renovating their new property; the tight knitted neighborhood quickly take notice of this and react in strange mannerisms that rub the Brannock family in an off putting way. With the family now more aware of their unorthodox neighbors, they start to receive disturbing letters from someone called “The Watcher”, which rises suspicions that the family’s neighbors are threatening them. However, just like the real tragedy, the identity of “The Watcher” is never revealed as the police covering this case were never able to solve the mystery.

To stream this 1 season show, it is exclusively on Netflix.
