Throughout this week and next week, Juniors are taking the state CAASPP exams for English and Math.
During this time, sleep is very important, while we are testing the best we can during these tests. A nice breakfast is also essential to start our day in preparation for the very important tests Juniors will be taking for the next few days.
CAASPP testing has been very important to school districts worldwide and shows how students are doing academically in various schools, seeing if students are gaining the knowledge they need and showing how the school is doing. The better the scores are, the better they represent the school we attend, making it appealing to parents who are in preparation for sending their child to the best school possible in the area.
Although it’s a little difficult to bring this test back into the school year after a large pandemic, it is a process in which we must all try to transition back.
It’s important to take the test seriously even if it does not affect your entrance into a college of your choice, but it is good for the school you’re interested in to see how you are in both subjects to determine whether or not a placement test is required for you to take.
The tests have a score range of 1-4, preferably the goal for juniors is a 3 or a 4. Either of those scores will benefit those who want to go to college greatly.
Lastly, it’s very important to do your best.
