The fear of growing up.
Me among many others have no idea what the future has in store for us. We can plan and plan and plan but things change every hour and every day. Nothing is ever definite and that is the most terrifying part. We are expected by 16 to have to know what we are going to do in the future and therefore the rest of our lives.
Us students become so stressed at the fact that we feel that our time is running out and that we have to plan our whole life in a matter of months. Cavs, no you don’t. Sure it will be nice to have a layout, but again anything can change. Take your future one step at a time, that way you don’t become overcrowded.
We put an alarm on our lives when in actuality we have a while to make anything concrete. Teachers felt the same way we did when they were our age.
To end off with, Cavs it’s okay to not have anything figured out, it’s okay to take time off for yourself. As much as school is an important key to life, it’s not everything. There are still life experiences you haven’t done, dream places you want to visit, or people you haven’t met. Nothing is ever for sure so take that and use that and move on.
