The mistletoe tradition started between the years 1740 – 1784 in England.
The story began when the goddess Figg lost her son, the prince, to an arrow made of a mistletoe. After he sadly passed, she swore that the mistletoe would kiss anyone who passed underneath it.
Many probably assumed it came from Christmas but it didn’t, although the meaning behind the mistletoe is very interesting, do you think in the year 2050 the tradition will still be going around?
