The time has come for our Montclair High School Girl’s Soccer team to recognize their seniors as their last season is upon them. There are seven seniors on the soccer team: Tania Hernandez, Daniela Frausto, Gloria Cepeda, Abbey Lopez, Tamara Reyes, Valeria Guzman, and Isabel Corona. How exciting for these seniors! Unfortunately, senior night will be held at Colony High School due to our stadium being off-limits due to the hazardous turf.

The event will take place before the last game on February 1st. The seniors will be called out and a mini-biography will be read aloud for each girl. These seniors will all have banners put up in the stadium to celebrate their last year. Family and friends are able to walk with these seniors as they make their way to the middle of the field. To the right is a photo of all the girls holding each other with pride as their jersey numbers stand together.

The Montclair Girls Varsity Soccer team is moments away from making it to CIF. The only obstacle in their way: Chino. We’ll see how these girls do tonight as they battle Chino High School for second place in league.
