On November 9, 2023, the seniors on campus finally got a feel for the real world. Over the past few months, they have been working on improving their resume and cover letter, as well as gaining a better understanding of the workforce. All of this has led up to their mock interviews.
“This was a great opportunity for our seniors to get the feeling of a real-life, career-based experience. We even role-played, allowing them to speak with their classmates. Overall, I think they were ready. But one area I think that the seniors could improve upon is their attire. Most students do not have business attire for a business environment. They had to wear what they were able to wear. This is a tough situation because there may be those who are not able to afford to buy a new outfit. “
