Daily Exercise for a Healther Life

Achieving Better Health with Exercise
Daily Exercise for a Healther Life

Get ready to change your life by making daily workouts a habit. Shockingly, only 28% (1/3) of Americans meet physical activity guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control. The Department of Health and Human Services recommends 150 minutes of moderate weekly exercise plus muscle-strengthening activities.

Exercise has overall health benefits, including brain function, weight management, decreased risk of disease, and stronger bones and muscles. It promotes a longer lifespan and lowers the chance of severe health conditions like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and certain cancers. Thirty minutes of daily exercise can significantly improve your well-being with benefits for mental health, mood, stress reduction, and motivation.

I managed to speak with two Montclair students who exercise daily. I wanted to learn more about why they have made fitness a lifestyle and how it has impacted their lives. The first student shared, “Exercise has personally made me more disciplined because it requires consistent effort in order to see results. This discipline has carried over to other aspects of my life, making me a better person overall.” The second student stated, “Exercise has made me more disciplined and has improved my focus, and it helps improve my mood. The progress I see in myself motivates me to keep training and pushing myself forward.”

So take control of your physical health and unleash the potential to transform your life today Montclair Cavaliers!
