Watching movies or coming back to old shows you used to watch can be exciting. There are a lot of movies coming out soon for the next month left of 2023 and in the next upcoming year. Let’s look into some of the movies you can look forward to soon!

1. Candy Cane Lane (December 1, 2023)

• Christmas is coming soon, and this is one of the perfect movies for the holidays since its release is the first of the month. Candy Cane Lane is about a man who is “determined to win the neighborhood’s annual Christmas decorating contest.” To be the winner, he makes a contract with an elf to cast a spell that makes the 12 days of Christmas a reality. Though this might be in his favor to win, it causes trouble for a town. 

2. Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever (December 8 2023)

• Not only did a lot of us read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid during our childhood about Greg and what struggles he faces in his diary, but they’ve released several other shows and movies. Cabin Fever particularly is about Greg and his worry about his family getting through the winter vacations, snow, and getting a new console.. 

3. Mean Girls (January 12, 2024)

• Mean Girls is very well known for their movies, now that they’re making a comeback next year, people are very excited! With Cady Heron, a hit on the Plastics, which is “an A-list girl clique at her new school.” She makes a mistake when she falls for Aaron Samuels, who is the ex-boyfriend of the alpha of the Plastics, Regina George.

4. It Ends With Us (February 9, 2024)

• It Ends With Us is a romance and drama based on Lily’s belief to have found true love with Ryle. But with many problems like an incident that triggers her past trauma and when her first love comes back into her life, what will happen to them and will they get through it? Or will they fall apart and split?  This movie was made based off a book made by Colleen Hoover and was published February 29, 2016.

5. Joker: Folie à Deux (October 4, 2024)

• Folie à Deux was revealed to mean mental disorders of similar manifestations shared by pairs or multiple people that are in close relationships. Or, “Madness For Two” in French which made people speculate that Harley Quin might make an appearance in the movie. The plot includes “an incarcerated Flock was locked up in Arkham State Hospital at some unknown point after he incited riots across Gotham City.”
