Shoes have been a competing subject on the Cavalier campus. Adidas Samba, Jordan 4’s, and Knu Skool Vans seem to be the most popular shoe brands at the moment. Students on campus are always wearing their best pair of shoes to school. What shoes do you fellow cavaliers feel are the best shoes at the moment?

Recently, crowds are falling in love with the German footwear’s 73-year old icon, Adidas Samba’s, Jordan 4’s, and the Knu Skool Vans. The Adidas Samba style is back in action and many people are rocking the Samba’s in different sizes and colors such as the cloud whites and core blacks. Adidas Samba’s were originally made of kangaroo leather along with the gum sole. They were made to allow athletes to play on top of frozen grounds. Samba’s were a huge introduction to the 1950 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, football athletes wore the Sambas. 

Jordan 4’s have always been a popular shoe since 1989, they dropped with four different color ways that include ‘Fire Red’, ‘Black Cement/Bred’, ‘White Cement’ and ‘Military Blue’. The Jordan 4’s inspired many collabs and special editions. The Jordan 4’s were featured in Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing, it really helped the shoe transcend the game of basketball. 

Knu Skool Vans are a hit around Montclair High, these chunky shoes are also being rocked in different colors. They returned from the 90’s, skateboarders cherished these puffy shoes, they’re a modern update of the traditional Old Skool Vans.
